Meet Gabby Proffitt

Hi, I’m Gabby

For me, vintage is part expertise and part love story.

I’ve spent years digging through flea markets, estate sales, antique fairs, and even family attics. What started with a spark — finding my grandmother’s porcelain figurines tucked safely in a wooden cabinet — grew into a lifelong passion for uncovering the history, artistry, and hidden value of everyday objects from the past.

But I’m not just a collector who admires from afar. I’ve studied, researched, and handled countless items — from mid-century furniture and vinyl records to old postcards, porcelain, costume jewelry, kitchenware, and typewriters. Over the years, I’ve learned how to tell the difference between a reproduction and an original, how to care for fragile pieces, and how to spot the stories that make an item more than just “old.”
